An Ein Soph Parable (an Introduction)

"Ariel used a parable in her book, What is Lightbody. I honour the tradition."

!!!I know that three times might be considered pestering, but most people start with one of the top three pages, and I want to make sure that as many as possible see this first. If you want to get straight to the spells I consider the 'turn magic ON' page to be the best place to start. Check the sidebar!!!

The Parable

There is a world of Song that underlies the world of Form. It is the world that crystallised into Form. It is the world that first conceived of Form. Depending on your viewpoint, conceiving Form was either a good or a bad idea. Regardless of your views, Form certainly has all kinds of lessons to teach. And the goal of Form is to crystallise into higher dimensions, and so is the goal of flesh.

In the world of Song, there are many Voices. They all Sing. In terms of Form, seen two dimensionally, the world beyond form is a Circle. There are as many Voices as there are forms as there are points in the Circle. There are endless points. Every Song is the smallest particle of Light possible - a Note. Yet Notes are fractal; they each contain all smaller Notes. In a backwards kind of way, they also contain all bigger Notes. The Song is already complete. It has no beginning or ending; who can say where a circle begins or ends? Now for the hard bit. Because all the points are linked, the circle is connected into itself in all dimensions. When this happens, you form a Sphere. Or a Line if you do it backwards; but the Line is a perfect Pi spiral, seen in 2d. Seen in 1d it is a line with no beginning or ending.

If you fold a sphere by imploding and exploding it at every point at once, you form a Hypersphere, a four-dimensional sphere. But it would be indistinguishable from a 3d sphere in three dimensions.

You can, through a simple effort of intent, shift your perspective from one dimensional reference to any other and all of them at once, through any of them.

It's a simple shift to place your perspective in your speech, or thought, and then *energise* it for magical purpose.

Welcome to the dimension of Magic through the Word.
